SerialServer - Serial Communication for an RF Transceiver

Summary: SerialServer is a Win32 console application that is meant to be run as a background task spawned from another program. The program monitors a serial port for incoming packets. The packets are written to a temporary file for a specific amount of time. After the desired time period has elapsed, the file is closed and renamed using a unique name based on the date and time. The process then begins again with a new temporary file.

The transceiver simulator is a Visual Basic 6 program that simulates RF transceiver hardware. The program was used to test the SerialServer program while the hardware was being built.
