USB Instrument Application Programmers Interface
Summary: The client had designed a hardware instrument composed of a multiplexed analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that communicates with a PC via the Universal Serial Bus (USB). A generic dynamic link library (DLL) was coded that communicates with a commercial USB DLL and provides a virtual instrument interface to the ADC. The coding was done in Visual Studio (C/C++). The deviced will be used from within Labview 6.1. Test routines were built in Visual basic 6 and Visual C.
